While APEC Association focuses on the APEC region and traditional issues, it also covers a broad range of other areas and agendas. The directors and members of the Association are experts in areas of economics, politics, diplomacy, human rights, and regional issues. This network centers on the practical and academic foundation for international development and cooperation.

 Participation in Joint Conference on Economics (Continuing Project)

- Participated regularly in the annual Joint Conference on Economics since 2001

- At the 2018 academic conference, the participating experts discussed the possibility of China-led FTAAP with the theme of 'APEC Overview and Bogor Goals Progress and Evaluation’          

 Ministry of Foreign Affairs-APEC Association Research Forum: APEC Outreach Forum (Continuing Project)

 - The APEC Conference and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have established a forum for discussion with APEC outreach committees, faculty, experts and public officials. As a result, the forum was held on individual themes, thereby creating an expert network through in-depth discussion.
